Dr. Kathy earned her DVM at the University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine, and came to MLVC soon after. She enjoys seeing all types of patients, but especially enjoys orthopedic surgery and small animal dentistry.
Dr. Frank started Moose Lake Vet Clinic in 1977. He now works only one day a week, but still enjoys seeing patients and their owners!
Dr. Aaron graduated from Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. He enjoys all elements of veterinary medicine and has interest in a variety of species including bovine, equine, swine, small ruminants, camelids and small animals. His favorite species to work with is cattle, and he is experienced in bovine reproduction, herd health, lameness and internal medicine.
Dr. Kristina graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2017, and then spent a year as an intern veterinarian at Stillwater Equine. She joined the MLVC team in 2018, and is mostly found out in the country seeing equine patients. Her largest interest is in equine medicine and theriogenology. Her favorite thing about this practice is the dedication of our clients. When she is not attending to her patients, she enjoys horse camping, trail riding, backpacking, sustainable farming, and gardening. She has a fiancée, Bobby; and shares her home with multiple farm animals; two dogs, Chloe and Finnegan; and a cat named Murphy.
Beth joined the clinic in 2022. She is the behind the scenes queen, managing everything from ordering inventory, interviewing, scheduling, and assisting in any way she can. In her free time Beth enjoys spending time with her husband and her two daughters. She can be found coaching volleyball and enjoying time on the lake. Her favorite part of Veterinary Medicine is working with the staff, keeping the clinic workload moving as swiftly as possible, and helping everyone accomplish the same goal... To be the best!
Sam started at MLVC in 2021. Sam currently lives in Moose Lake and when not working enjoys barrel racing, hiking, traveling and spending time with her husband and 2 children. Between her 2 children, 5 dogs, 4 horses, barn kitty and multiple chickens Sam stays very busy! Sam's favorite part of Veterinary Medicine is watching patients heal and building relationships with clients and their animals.
Jamie has been working with the MLVC equine patients since 2019. Jamie hails from Duluth, and currently lives in Barnum. In her spare time she enjoys riding her horses (Toby and Gumdrop), hiking, and camping with her family.
Jill returned to MLVC in 2018 after a few years away. She assists mostly with our equine patients and can usually be found riding shotgun in the vet truck. In her spare time she enjoys training and riding western pleasure horses and spending time with her family.
Clara always wanted to work with animals, so started tech school in 2018 at Eastern Wyoming College. She joined us here at MLVC in 2018/2019 for a couple of externships and, after graduating, continued on with us full time as a CVT. Her biggest interests are monitoring anesthesia during surgeries and performing dental cleanings. She als
Clara always wanted to work with animals, so started tech school in 2018 at Eastern Wyoming College. She joined us here at MLVC in 2018/2019 for a couple of externships and, after graduating, continued on with us full time as a CVT. Her biggest interests are monitoring anesthesia during surgeries and performing dental cleanings. She also believes that "nothing beats draining a good abscess!" Her favorite thing about working at our clinic is the camaraderie between our team and the fact that everyone is here to improve and learn more about animal welfare while having a fun time. When she is not helping patients, she enjoys working on her family ranch; riding her two horses, Callie and Calamity; hanging out with friends; and seeing new places. She currently lives in Sandstone with her dogs, Rainee and Bowie.
Lyssa joined our clinic in January of 2022. In her free time Lyssa likes to kayak and spend time at the lake with her family. Lyssa has 9 cats, 1 dog and 2 horses that keep her busy. Her favorite part of Veterinary Medicine is seeing a variety of species and healthy pets.

Dora came to us in 2021 after multiple other jobs in the veterinary industry including the University of Minnesota and Affiliated Emergency Clinic. In her spare time she enjoys her time at the lake.

Anja Recently joined our team February 2025. She enjoys interacting with clients and their pets. When Anja is not at the clinic she loves spending time with her boy friend and riding horses. Clyde is a big goofy dope who loves pillaging garbage cans for food. His favorite activities include getting zoomies mid-day, counter surfing for treats, staring lovingly at the treat canister, and spreading strings of goober across everyone's scrubs. When not meandering around the clinic Clyde enjoys catching ZZZ's in the cat bed. His spirit animal is a Panda.
Winston is that little guy with the big dog complex, he is the guy you hear yipping when you walk through the door. He loves changing his sweater as often as he changes his attitude. He enjoys lounging in chairs, getting brushed and being lovingly doted upon by everyone. His spirit animal is a Wildebeest.
